Do not expect JP to order any investigation into the Mayor or any influential figure in this county. He owes his job to Gimenez, whom he helped get elected by obstructing the 2012 absentee ballot fraud investigation that should have put him in jail. He was selected by Gimenez and given the position of director as a trade off. He expects Gimenez to support him financially in his future political career and he will keep his head buried in the sand to protect his own interests. We came into this job for the purpose of protecting life and property. JP cares about his “political life and his personal property”- as in how much he will make if he just goes along with the flow.
