    Load bearing vest

The last few Fridays I’ve seen many people(clearly our deputies lol) asking on Instagram about us getting load bearing vest. The response is always “yes, we are looking into it”.

    Thoughts on this?

You must be one of Bob's eunuchs, spineless office clerks and beta wimps who only carry around a badge on your belts and a mini pistol for show. Spill some hot coffee on yourself or gave yourself a paper cut lately? You and your type who haven't done an honest day's LEO work in many years and continue to leech and double-dip from the taxpayer funded feeding trough should have no say on the load bearing vest issue. The load bearing vests are needed now to increases the comfort, safety and efficiency of the deputies who perform the work that makes this agency go day in and day out. It is also a matter of better health for the members who have to carry around all that equipment which you office girls couldn't handle. So STFU and go back to your office.

It is better for people to carry items on their chest not a belt. It called the future welcome to it

It would make sense. Less items on duty belt which kills your back over 20 years. It’s easier take off if you get shot or have medical issue, like heart attack.

You are not in charge so what you think does not matter. If enough deputies complain about the outdated overloaded belts the administration will buy load bearing vests. Just like it did with the 12 hour shifts, if enough people demand load bearing vests Bob will make it happen.

Push it through the PBA. They can ask directly.
