    Changing uniform standards for the summer climate

    Yeah polos and bdus, or shorts like basically every other agency in Miami.

    Too bad we have a dumbf*ck director who wants to keep us in 1970s garments. Wouldn't be surprised if he mandates us wearing the shiney shoes on patrol.

    I’m to proactive to wear shorts. I don’t want to have blood running down my legs all summer long.

    I’m assuming he or she means that they are active in their day and have to put their knee on the ground to check under a car for a subject or to check a 25a and they don’t want heat blisters or road rash on their knees.

    Or he’s a loser and just doesn’t want his knee scrapped while he’s tying his shoe
