    Appeal board hearing dates; 8-26-19 and 8-29-19 for Jenkins. Szabo was exonerated and restored, as Jenkins will be as well. Posts untruthfulness and policy violations were sustained and are still publically available. She took a payoff to drop her sexual harrassment claims (that no one verified).
    To compare the cases is ludacris! Her termination was allowed to be written off as a resignation. It was cheaper for the county to settle. Facts and documents show she is a liar. This you cannot say about Szabo and Jenkins as their files will not reflect negatively at all. Facts are stubborn things... records are more stubborn and the findings stood.

    It was the same case with Szabo. In all fairness, it’s hard to say one of them was victorious while the other was defeated if the result was the same.

    I can agree to disagree. Does Szabo have founded violations sustained on his personnel file? If so, please support those with documents. We are more interested in any allegations of dishonesty or purgery. Hearsay is not good enough. Opinions are not facts. Documents, however, do not lie. We do possess the documents and have verified our beliefs to be correct. True, those who were asked only offered opinions. But the opinions are obvious with the facts and documents laid out. Most importantly, we have verified the documents to be in fact official, unredacted records that are NOT forgeries! Being as the files stand, who stands to lose more at this point? I bet the councilwoman is second guessing her allegiance to the Sheriff, that is where she faltered. Wont take much coercion to show that her support of the Sheriff benefitted her own living arrangements due to her husbands position. She is nothing more than a professional victim. A victim of her own creation.

    Don’t forget when he shot his rifle when he didn’t know what he was shooting at because he was scared. Another deputy did the same thing but he was fired.

    Sustained violations of dishonesty? Or just mistakes that anyone could make and learn from is the question. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. Lying in an official capacity or during investigations is another level.
