Retire out Simovich, Jowell, Halle, Campbell, Nalven, Hagans, Romanosky and Peterson. Get rid of the Assistant Chief Deputy positions. Danzig (Chief Deputy), Komar (Patrol Major). Pupke (SSB Major), Deanna Carey (SSB Captain), Garvey (IOB Major), Arnold (JOB Major). If you can’t find a Major worthy of running the jail you’re not looking hard enough. Start fresh. Fresh ideas from people with experience. You may be amazed at what they can do without a bunch of static causing filters in the way (Steffen and Jowell). Hell you may be surprised to get actual facts for once Sheriff. Many years ago when the great supervisor purge took place the promotional process was changed. Laptop computers and software was used to look up the answers. The chosen ones were given the materials needed to ace the test while everyone else had to study. The test was rigged in favor of the cheater laptop searches. This was the beginning of the downhill slide in supervisor quality. Some of these test cheaters became lieutenants and captains with predictable results. Throw in the fake college diplomas and that makes them total frauds. But the administration promotes loyalty rather than background and competence.

We'd get better supervisors by voting than by the current promotional system based on political loyalty and nepotism.
