When does the Sgt’s and Lts list expires

Sgt’s is Aug 21, probably 1 Sgt for Lt Hicks opening. No more than that. Openings don’t exist. New position maybe after Octobers budget if approved.

Lts is July 12, 2 plus weeks away. No openings. Hicks leaves after the list is done and she has no love for anyone on there.

There's no reason to spend the money on any other promotional exam for the next couple of years. The amount of promotions for the next few years will be minimal 4-6 Sgt's & 2-4 Lt's per year. The job of replacing all the Jurassic Park Sergeants & Lieutenants that hid in the shadows here has been accomplished. Look around and see all the baby faces that are walking around with gold badges. They set out a few years ago to solidify the supervisory future of this department and have done just that. The supervisors you see today will be in those positions for the next 10-15-20 years.
