You are so cute. Scott will never be sheriff again. He has committed too many crimes. They have been uncovered and are in the process of being investigated. I don't think his criminal record can get "lost" two times in his life.

The crime is when you began writing on leo. Your intelligence is to be desired and shameful. You have a possession with SI and that is concerning. If you think you can persuade anyone with a half a brain to jump the fence on the bad decisions that were made by DeSantis you're wrong. You are only fueling the fire of injustice and believe one thing, Alot of changes will follow once Sheriff Israel gets back. You idiots think awful highly of yourselves don’t you? The truth is very few of you would leave and the impact of those who did will be zilch. Enough of your rambling. The truth is, this tragedy occurred, at least partially BECAUSE you idiots think so highly of yourselves.

You discounted your police services. You thought you knew better. You clipped the authority of the deputies in your city to do their job. You demanded soft do nothing cops and you got them. The mistake Israel made was playing politics and letting you have your way.

And it’s not just you. The same games are being played in Weston, and Lauderdale by the Sea, and Cooper City, and the Airport. It’s hands off in those places and just look at the results of hands off community bullish!t policing. People get killed, plain and simple.

A real leader has to have the strength to tell people NO sometimes. That’s how you keep the community safe. You either call the shots or they do. And since they don’t know what the hell they are doing, letting them call the shots is not an option.

The solution would be to have the courage. Like Sheriff Israel said you can't teach courage. He's fighting a political gain from that pathetic DeSantis decision which we all know is extremely weak. Sheriff Israel will win his day to regain his position.

It was the self serving politicians, school board and Runcie who benefited and profited from the funding scam associated juvenile leniency. A parent *****ing about a weed charge for their kid needs the smack down. I charge any of you to name ONE non-politician parent who "demanded soft policing" with regard to any situation of aggression or potential aggression. This has snowballed into a convenient narrative that is untrue. There were no groups marching around the city pointing fingers at police prior to 2018. There were no parents at town meetings complaining about excessive force and bad arrests of juveniles. Do you think that our elections were more legit than the rest of Broward? We know of no one who voted for Freedman for school board and somehow she, R. Osgood's buddy was elected. BSO admin bent for the city manager, mayor and commission and it was WRONG. You'd be shocked by how many residents and parents DO NOT support the arrest of Peterson and consider him a fall guy. It's easier though to get info from the SS, point out the new riche dirtbags with the PHO stickers and mischaracterize an entire community based on some bad apples on the west end of the city. Isn't that exactly what was done to your agency after the airport and MSD incidents? It's unwarranted and unfair. On a more positive note, the police presence and involvement with the community has much improved and is deeply appreciated- at least by the 49% registered Parkland republicans. Be safe
