The off duty unit has been the most scammed unit in the history of mpd due to its nature of dealing with money , he who controls the money controls the power , in the early days of history jobs used to be pay cash so you can imagine ,the good jobs will go to friends and family , money will exchange hands at the table in more recent times not much has changed friends and family gets the best post and jobs out of the sun with more hours ,etc etc is the nature of the beasts, staff doesn't care because they are not affected since they don't work that and the simple soldier is happy when they throw him a bone , there's not much he can do against the system . My advised will be stay away from that craziness at the end of the day you can't fight the system is not good for your health to be the guy that always get the bad post on your day off trying to make a dollar that will take taxes anyways while a friend or family member gets the good post or the supervisor seats in the car while telling you what to do , the system will always be like that , not really worth it after all, if you need more look for a real way invest in real state or have your own business .

Harris has to be one of the worst cops in this dept. the guy ain’t worth anything. He belongs on patrol. Lt Gomez and Sgt Sadler have special events running the way it is suppose to run. Harris is upset they don’t allow him to scam like he has since he got here which was yesterday. The problem I see here is that IA entertains such a B.S complaint. He has a problem with how the leadership is run the unit then he can transfer out simple solution. Obviously he is the problem.

The problem in this department is that no one minds their own business, the biggest collections of bic**hes are walking amongst the so-called men in this department. There is an unprecedented amount of new officers walking around here like they shit don’t stink with a high sense of entitlement. That’s the monster created by the people in command in this place, is not about what you know or past work ethics and accomplishments is all about manipulation and the only ones that can be manipulated in this department are the ones that don’t know about the command staffs actual work ethics and accomplishments with the exception of few when they were officers. That’s why a lot of these specialized units are not accomplishing much because of the inexperience of the officers working this units, they are easy to bully and manipulate. Everything in life comes full circle.

You got that right but there are some that’s not afraid to put them in there place. Being placed in special units because of who you know and have no experience is a very big problem for everyone. You can’t close cases if you don’t know what the hell your doing.
