Please ignore the fat ,lazy, pieces of shit our agency unfortunately still employees. BSO is still hands down a great agency to work for. If you like to do something other than road patrol your entire career, BSO has a ton of opportunities to do different things. (If you work hard and are a team player). Unlike the nut sacks that continually put down our agency and get paid for being slugs!

Like any large agency their are ton of disgruntled employees, who get passed over because they are lazy, loud mouthed losers, who consistently whine and complain......just ignore their stupid comments, we need good people to replace them!

Ignore the negative replies. People with replies like that are either not even employed as leos or they're just bored and giving such replies for shits and giggles to stir shit up for their own entertainment.

With that being said, the way things are done in dade county are much different than in the rest of florida. Take that however you want...


BSO might not be the best paying agency, and it might have a longer retirement (FRS), but its a place with lots of options and opportunities if you want them. Wherever you go, I would always look for county or a big city. Remember, 20-30 years is a long time! The bigger the agency, the more opportunity you will have to move around different jobs (road, detective, etc) and changes of scenery.

But, here at bso get ready to do a lot of puckering up.

Read the paper, turn on the tv.....we are the worst agency in the world.
The agency is full of incompetent lazy people and nepotism is an epidemic. The azzkisser who wrote said there are tons of disgruntled employees....I wonder why? It's not because we're lazy or jealous of other people. It's because theres zero rewards for doing a good job. In fact, the truth is, the more you do, the more likely you are to get in trouble even if 100% you do the right thing because of all the disgusting politics here.
Don't become a cop anywhere in Florida. Go into either Federal law enforcement, military or another state if you can, but BSO is a disgusting vile place full of disgruntled people and A+++ azzkissers that are sell outs.
