Carmine Marceno needs to resign

Carmine Marceno should man up and resign. He never was a Florida Certified Law Enforcement Officer, uses his office to have sex with victims of crime, and lied to the News Press about having a college degree. If he still had any self-respect, Carmine Marceno would submit his resignation. He is still young enough to enter into a law enforcement acadamey, even though it would be the first time he attended one.

Just a citizen, not LEO. What do the hashmarks on officers' sleeves denote? There are now six on the sheriff's sleeve. Mike Scott had 8 when he left office. Just three years ago, as undersheriff, Carmine had none. Are they experience, years worked, some other meaning?

Dear just a citizen, go be a good little citizen and ask what the men and women want. You might be shocked to know nobody cares about Leavens and his disgruntles. If your really nice maybe you will also donate $20.20 to his campaign to fund another bumper sticker. It’s going to take $250,000 for Leavens to have a small shot. He has $2500 not good!

Three years of service each. Used to be in the agency time employed only. I had 12 when retiring. Then they opened it to general LE service which is Bullshit from other supposed agencies /jobs.

So what is wrong with that, you work NYPD, DC, Baltimore then you come over to Lee and do nothing for 15 -20 years We deserve to wear hash marks from our previous employer, where we did real Police Work and the LCSO.

Because per purchasing, only command staff are allowed to wear hash marks denoting experience from prior agencies.
