    SRO Peterson arrest

Does Sheriff Judd agree with Peterson's arrest? Does he believe others should be arrested as a result of his commissions investigation? Seems shy on this topic. What was wrong with the first three on scene, go in together tactic? That procedure at least provided mutual backup to each other, communication wasnt a problem, you were with other deps. Doubt seriously you could justify not going in if your fellow deps are ready to go and are standing next to you. With the current arbitrary you will go without backup and no discretion policies, does Sheriff Judd now think your life is secondary to the mission? Is it just to hard to defend at least having a backup before you enter. I dont have a problem going, I have a huge problem with a policy that does not at least afford you a backup, or allow you to evaluate the situation, ie multiple shooters, active sniper, IED's going off. Most of us would go without hesitation if it involves school kids. Not all active shootings however are at schools. We get killed doing this job everyday, certainly a hazzard of the job....until now, your safety was above all else now I'm not so sure.

Pinellas Sheriff Bob , the head of the Parkland Commission, who is a attorney, states that in his opinion Peterson showed clear criminal intent and should have been arrested. Does Grady Judd feel the same way?

The absolute king of telling it like it is, and admired by officers just about everywhere, is quiet about the arrest of Peterson. Come on man, get in front of camera and tell us what your think Grady.

Email Grady directly. He doesn’t come on here to search for trolls from the public. Find some other place to get your questions answered.

He should come here, he might find out what his people truly think. He's more interested in being a TV sheriff rather than a real sheriff, that's why he has deputies making worthless arrest after worthless arrest so he can have something to tout in front of the camera. Just like those sting operations he keeps doing, sure those sickos deserve punishment but most of the time more than half of them have charges dropped because it's really all for show. You couldn't pay me enough to put up with the nonsense at PCSO.

You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Agency supervision is well aware what cases are dropped by the SAO and those “sting operations” almost always plea out in court. Less than 5% of those cases are dropped—a far cry from the “more than half” you reference.

That’s fine if you never want to work for PCSO, but don’t bash the good men and women who work hard at whatever assignment they’re handed and make the best of it.

And again, if you want an interview, call his office and get one. Or email him directly. His email is publicly available.
