If this happened at the jail Bob would have had a press conference bragging about how he was shocked and disappointed by the deputy's carelessness, and how will hold the jail staff accountable. There would be at least 20 replies here from patrol ridiculing the jail deputies as incompetent twerps.

Hey folks, news flash, bad guys sometimes get away. In the wild, do you think it’s easier to catch a lion versus kill it? Its easier to kill it than capture it. A capture in the wild has hazards. But when it’s in a zoo and escapes, that’s quite a different thing, don’t you think? The zoo has cages and cameras and caretakers. So the escape from jail is not the same as a prisoner beating feet while in handcuffs. And it happens more often than you would think. But keep making it about the sex of the female deputy or your hurt feelings that she won’t show you the time of day. If that’s what it takes to make you feel better, keep being a shit head.

Here's another angle to the story. Another affirmative action hire who should not be in this line of work. Couldn't cut it at the jail and can't cut it in patrol. Just hope she doesn't cause anyone to get hurt or killed. Stay safe.

KC was a dumpster fire at the jail and is a dumpster fire in patrol. We will see how many she drags down with her when she goes.

Hey jail turds go do your checks and worry about yourself. It's 1 or 2 of you slumps on here who comment negatively about people and put no name to yourself so shut up then. *****. KC is a hard worker. She does the job and is still learning patrol and mistakes. Have a problem then speak with her directly. But to keep commenting on LEO Affairs website does no justice to your pathetic life sitting in a desk behind a computer. Guess you are the problem if all you do is comment to these threads means your the one not working.

ive worked DDC, JOB, and POB. Having said that I can assure you people make mistakes no matter their assigment. The job of a Detention Deputy and a Patrol Deputy couldn't be more different. I'm sorry but most Detention Deputies wish they were in patrol and most probably tell unsupeccting citizens that they are "cops" when off duty. Detention is a law enforcement wastland.... a land of misfit toys. Keep telling yourself its not and that you are doing exactly what you want to be doing in life if that makes you feel better.

KC couldn't handle D&C that's why she went to patrol. Everyone she worked with had a negative reaction to her arrogance, know-it-all attitude, immaturity and general unprofessionalism. KC was a total joke at the jail. That's what this is all about. Since she was like that in D&C it's highly doubtful she is fit for patrol. But you patrol guys go ahead and pretend she can handle it just because someone made the mistake of letting her in. Good luck, you will need it.
