    I worked the jail and road. The jail cameras record virtually everything and store the video for review. HCSO has a pilot program for body cameras for patrol. Cameras are even more important for patrol because they provide real evidence in criminal cases and protect the agency and the officers from frivolous lawsuits and false allegations. This is why many agencies are testing them out right now. Body cameras are a win for everyone.

    Cameras for staff members. That would show the clown show in action. A 119 request after the first meeting would scare the tax paying public imo.

    10000000% agree! Every elected official should be required to wear a body cam and have it recording throughout their shift (no matter where they are or with) to stop back door deals, corruption, and lobbyist. Statistically, there are more politicians engaged in criminal activity then law enforcement officials. Elected officials are elected by the people to work for our interest. Why should we not be able to review what they are doing at work..?
