What makes us all look bad is that video of a Miami Beach cop frozen, while a criminal is fleeing and the police Chief is on his hands and knees eating asphalt, and he does absolutely nothing about either situation. That visual for the world to see is what makes us all look bad. Especially being that the cowardly Captain depicted in the video is constantly demanding zero tolerance productivity from officers. He is not only a coward but he is a hypocrite.

BSO has got the Broward Coward (SRO) and now the Miami Beach PD has got it's own Coward (Captain Chicken Shit). If the Broward Coward got criminally charged and is looking at 90 years behind bars then the Miami Beach Chicken Shit should be, at a minimum, written up for Failure to Render Aid, Duty to Act, Dereliction of Duty and Conduct Unbecoming. He's a super zero all he did as a tango unit (bikes) was hide in bushes and camp on handicap parking spots. If it was a frail person or young or weak and possibly in violation he would swat team run across from the bushes and give a bunch of snarky comments, he would get really pumped up.
