Yeah it's in the bag. Wait, isn't that what Orlando and the command staff have been saying for the last few months? Weren't they supposed to win on May 14th? And now there is a second round and they are claiming victory again? Yeah it's in the bag just like the dolphins are going to the playoffs next year.

If by "We just arrested his only vote." you mean the guy who alleged to have been shot; presumably by a Lopez minion, that arrest is fraught withthe prospect of political reprisal and raises more questions than answers. If by "we" you mean Sweetwater police department officers, that is questionable. Why, you might ask, simply because such sensitive politically shaded allegation should have been investigated by MDPD Public Corruption Section. If, for no other reason than to have an independent department investigation provide a semblance of objectivity. Let us examine the arrest further, if Sweetwater police officers did in fact affect the arrest, was it executed after consulting with the State Attorney's Office, having the SAO examine the "evidence" and through that Office procured an Arrest Warrant? No? So we can surmised the arrest was made by PMC; of course based on probable cause derived by the vastly experienced Sweetwater Police Officer and from what probative evidence? Should the defendant engage a tenacious defense lawyer, that trial will be a doozy and we look forward to it.

On another subject, a numerical fact Lopez and his toadies cannot elude, 53% of Sweetwater voters, voted to oust him!

Orlando had that guy arrested without any PC. That's GANGSTA!!! Badges, Orlando don't need no stinking Badges. He's got Placido and Carmona to do whatever it takes to win this thing. Disregard things like evidence, rule of law and fruit of the poisonous tree. I must admit though, between Orlando, Ventura, Placido and Carmona, those are the smartest most conniving and sinister thugs this town has ever seen. Well, excluding Carmona. He's not that brite. But he does look great in a suit right? Talk about win at all costs. Obviously they could care less about that case being dropped. They just wanted to do the old perp walk into the police cruiser bit. Works everytime. Who cares about law suits after the elections right. It's not like Orlando cares about anyone's career after the elections right. Cuz he and good old PLAZ are gonna have your back and take care of you. Wink wink. Remember folks, you are not indemnified from liability in a federal law suit for civil rights violations. Which means... That supposed perp can take what is yours and make it his. Including what is Orlando's. See you in the funny papers FIRESTARTER.

Like we typed, ‘Should the defendant engage a tenacious defense lawyer,’ Orlando Lopez; et al., you have a problem! “If” what you are typing is correct, they best start getting ready for a Federal civil rights law suit under Section 1983. Don’t know what that is? Allow us: 42 U.S. Code § 1983. Civil action for deprivation of rights, open the below link and read.

Never mind other State charges the guy’s attorney may move the SAO to examine and where appropriate charge. Perhaps as we type, the guy’s attorney has already filed the proper civil actions and statutory criminal challenges against Lopez and his henchpersons. We are not leaving town, the next four days promise to be memorable, even by Sweetwater’s history.

Remember, OL and the get a long gang were telling everyone it was in the bag with no second round. Well obviously they were wrong! Your 1500 to 900 prediction means that none of Idania's votes are going to Diaz. So your 63%/37% prediction doesn't hold much water. You are obviously praying OL wins because of your cushy position. But the rest of the agency hates this Mayor and the administration. You better start cracking some coconuts and killing some goats to be able to pull this one off. Jose Diaz wins on tueaday.

"Good arrest. Was within the elements." Please help us understand what that means.
