Family Accomodations? Are you being serious? You want to be a cop but not work weekends, holidays or nights? The mindset at this agency is beyond ridiculous. Go find a day shift at McDonalds idiots.
Seniority should absolutely count but that doesn't change the job as a whole.

I do not feel bad. We all know that police work is a 24/7 operation. All of our spouses and significant others realized what they were getting themselves into when they/we decided to make a family.

Suck it up or find a traditional 8-5 job that can accommodate your unreasonable demands.
