Yes folks one of our own had an accidental discharge today. Ch 4 is reporting,another embarrassment to the City.

Glocks do not malfunction, humans do! The follow-up investigation should reveal why the officer was carrying the pistol in his pant pockets. Whether he carried the pistol in a holster or not; whether the holster covered the trigger guard to avoid precisely what happened. Worst case scenario, the officer carried the pistol charged and unholstered. Let's hope not.
