The main problem with that kind of thinking is that it ignores the root of the problem which is a toxic work environment caused by the administration. Eventually those enthusiastic and dumb newbies get smart, realize what is going on and become disgruntled employees.

The other problem is that most people who hate the administration but like the job are also financially handcuffed to the job so are unable to leave, even if they wished to do so. Which brings us back to the toxic work environment caused by the administration, which is never addressed.

The problem with this agency is lack of leadership and experience. Due to lack of leadership and experience, they motivate their people by fear and intimidation. The third floor view everyone as expendable, and will toss you if needed. The Bob cheerleaders will tell you that you are lazy or a slug but you guys are equally expendable too, except you don’t realize yet and had your falling from grace. Now, real leadership doesn’t do fear and intimidation. They lead by example and motivate their guys by praising and rewarding them. They also know how to work as a team with their subordinates. As long as Bob and his staff continues to treat their subordinates like pawns, expect more pay raises in order to try to keep theses new guys here. If not, the mass exodus will continue. No one will last thirty plus years here.

And what actions are you talking about? The new and “enthusiastic” people are only for themselves. They have no idea what it means to work as a team and think they know best about everything. This is the new generation.

So the disgruntled people with tenure that are financially handcuffed to the job continue to act out without being referred to IA, contributing to the toxic work environment. Now that GM is gone something will be done, old school thinking of turning your cheek to these people is the past.

I can guarantee you the people with tenure are not the ones making a toxic work environment. It's upper rank expecting EVERYONE to jump and do what they say. Even if it's wrong. The supervision can't make a decision with getting permission first. And their hands are tied. There is a lot going on in there that you do not know anything about. So, keep hiding behind you stupid keyboard and keep spewing things you have absolutely no knowledge about.
