    Plus 3% = $ 41.917.62 July 1, 2019.

    Add $ 5,000 for CMP
Add $ 7,000 for DRE ( if increase is approved from 2k to 7k)

    Could be at $57k base.

    QRF $ 2000.00

    Its there for the taking.

Will this help with recruiting and retention of troopers? I'm curious is this a statewide or only certain counties.

It sure won’t help from Palm Beach down south to Miami when you have x49 starting you in the low $60k and topping you at close to $100k. It might help the rednecks living in the boondocks paying $600 mortgages. When you have a decent living house in a urban city, troopers are still gonna scatter and soon the lowest IDs on the PM shift in south Florida are gonna be in the 1500s.

This is typical FHP! Other agencies start out more with BASE pay. FHP's answer is to give $5000 to select counties, $2000 to only select troopers. Only so many spots!

The state should be paying just as much as a municipality or county. What good is nice cruisers and pay is trash. That's really odd how they pay differential is from county to county.
