    Any info on raises / additional CAD counties added this year?

    The Florida Legislature approved a 3% pay raise for Florida Highway Patrol Troopers in the following class codes:

    Florida Highway Patrol Trooper (8030); Florida Highway Patrol Sergeant (8031); Law Enforcement Lieutenant (8522); Florida Highway Patrol Corporal (8034); Florida Highway Patrol Investigator Sergeant (8035); Florida Highway Patrol Pilot I (8032); Florida Highway Patrol Pilot II (8033)

    The raise is effective July 1, 2019 and applies to your base rate pay as of June 30, 2019.

    The Legislature also approved an expansion of the $5,000 Critical Market Pay Additive to the following counties:

    Baker, Clay, Charlotte, Flagler, Nassau, Osceola, Santa Rosa and St. Johns. All of the previously included counties were retained.

    They need to raise the cad to 8000 at least. Inflation is eating that 5000 real quick.

    Basically most of Troop G. Spaulding loves his former employees and former Troop.

    If you are assigned to a CAD county, you get the $5000, even if you don’t reside in the county.

    You must be newby here Rook. He’s a 1000 % correct. CAD county you get $5k and it doesn’t matter where you live. CMP critical market pay is where you have to live and be assigned to the county that has been designated critical market in order to receive the $5k. It’s not the same. There’s a difference between CAD and CMP.
