So in less than a year we have to face some scary promotions.

1 - Ass Chief to replace Jowell.
3 - Majors to replace Campbell (Thank God). Halle and Nalven (The Bald One).
5 - Captains to replace Peterson, I’m missing someone and the three captains that get moved up to Major.
5+ - Lieutenants to replace the captains.
5+ - Sergeants to replace the lieutenants.

We screwed folks. They been crying about the bench being empty. What’s it look like now? We gonna have a Captain Gerretz? Captain Carey 2.0? Captain Mantzanas? Major Carey (The Nutless One). The crowd is getting scary. Maybe they’ll import some more DEA talent.

There is no crisis because nothing will change except the names. Bob will still rule with an iron fist and his new command staff will kiss his butt just like the ones who will be retiring.

There are plenty of suck-asses waiting for the old geezers to retire so they can take their places. You could throw darts at the payroll roster and get better people than the butt-kissers which are in line for appointments. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Nothing changes for the deputies who actually make the agency run except the names of the command staff.

We all know exactly how this shit will play out.....

Larry Nalven retires in less than one year. He stays away six months and comes back to take Sean Jowell’s position when Sean has to finally retire and reconstruct what marriage he has left. Dan finally retires and George Steffen moves back up to Chief Deputy. Sean eventually comes back and slides back into an Ass Chief spot until George retires to the sponge docks. Then Sean moves up to Chief. There he will stay while watching his two sons move along as road deputies. And there he will wait for when Bob might hand him the reigns. You see Sean was supposed to run for Sheriff in 2012. But when the Wayne Morris Mafia was disbanded that dream got destroyed. That’s also when Sean turned his back on all of his WM Mafia friends. That’s when Hagans was banished to JOB.

The rest of the moves won’t matter. Because the next majors will be puppets for these pieces of shit. They have a racket going to make $150,000 + a year and they don’t want to disrupt it. None of these gutless pigs have the balls to run against Bob. Not one of them. Nothing will change for a while. Larry No Balls will learn the ropes after climbing higher than his weak ass brother did. That’ll be Dan’s last deed. And then he will drift away and be forgotten as quickly as Richy Stache was. Funny thing is it’s not like Pinellas County has any major crime. That all takes place in Tampa and St Pete. I’m not sure why their job is even needed.

This is a very likely scenario. They are all in for the double-dipping money and getting their own relatives promoted. When some of them retire the next group repeats the process. Two things have to happen here to disrupt this racket: the new sheriff has to be an outsider and the state should impose a 10 year mandatory hiatus until someone can return to the same agency they retired from. That will fix the double-dipping problem and the corrupt family dynasties.
