The race baiters in that Local 10 news conference photo are exactly the SAME players who bussed in the church congregations for the town hall meeting to defend Robert Runcie. They filled the seats and left parents of the dead kids standing in the back, accused every speaker who opposed their defense of Runcie as a racist. Many of you have bad feelings toward Parkland and the whole MSD scene, but unless all of these groups get together; the public, BCPS teachers, IUPA, and citizens who value law enforcement, you will be steamrolled. Put your differences aside for the greater cause. You cannot remain in your law enforcement silo and prevail. You're outnumbered.

While I and many others appreciate your support and understand what you're saying, this isn't a normal law enforcement agency. Whatever brother hood we had left was completely dissolved under Scott Israel when he neutered us. The rest wisely retired or moved. It would be like trying to herd cats. That was the one thing Israel achieved, complete division among each other and between the ranks and other agencies.

What makes me (us) sick is this obvious race divide. Does anyone in the media realize that there are white, brown, yellow and red people living in Broward County? They just don't crave the limelight as much when they misbehave or if there is an issue. We ALL have due process (yes, even LEO) and we all follow the rule of law. Just because someone is loud and gay and black shouldn't speed up that process. The old squeaky wheel gets the grease for a lot of these race baiters.

You civilians elected these real winners called city leaders, we know these people way more intimately because we have to interact with them daily. We did not elect ANY of these people because we know them and their m.o. Look at Mark Bogen, for instance, he was one of yours. Why do you continue to promote him and give him so much power? Take the ever-compromised Mike Satz, do you think any of us are voting for him? And Israel? You are the ones with the power, we are the powerless that get shoved out here and docked and lynched. Our families suffer too even after they divorce some of us from the stress we bring home.

You need to organize. It's your community too. The community needs to rally, we can only come out in civilian clothes and baseball caps and try to blend in and help you guys support us.
