Jenne took care of business so we didnt have to be concerned with it. Powertrac sucked but was toning down bigtime in the later days. Raises were not an issue and you knew where he stood- always. Judges and the commission didn't jack with him. We had agencies all over the country coming to see how we did things. Nobody asks BSO for advice anymore. [Bold]You also had to pretty much earn your rank. Very few of our current executive staff would even have qualified to received an interview from jenne.[/B] Yeah, his personal business put him in prison. But BSO was a more secure and professional place.

Jenne could pick anywhere off the list he (A.B.C.) wanted. Political promotions where the only promotions. Raises?! yeah we got the same 3% every other county employee got, while other Dept. were getting bigger. His connections were useful but he was using us for bigger things until he got caught.

Ken Jenne all day long! His biggest fault was he trusted his Colonels, the ABC's, which also led to his downfall. Nobody in the County ****ed with us when he was sheriff (not the county commission, school board, judges, SAO, PD's Office). If he would have had a half way decent command staff he would have been the best sheriff ever at BSO. For those SI supporters, Scotty boy still can't hold Jenne's jockstrap, even with his felony conviction!

Lamer was acting out some pathetic godfather fantasy as sheriff. Always quoted mafia phrases and pretty much thought he was some kind of wise guy leader. Another guy who fancied himself as a righteous Christian as well. Fake and useless. He really sucked.

Ken Jenne - had the power to push back, no one screwed with him, raises were good. Some people hated the no ball cap rule, campaign hats or no hats only. Difference - no LEO experience, 100% politician that never wore a uniform a day in his life.

Al Lamberti - Got the wheels updated, the uniforms updated, ball caps, etc. Difference - a career cop
