You worked here during a great time! It was fun actually being a cop. Actually patrolling. No CPID and no 730 reports and we did not do the job of the old state CPS. CRA only reports where the CRA was the report, short form reports, no doing BS detective work. It was their job like alerts and such. No bull crap dailies (a newspaper for the uninformed brass that supervisors should be writing, not us), no treating moronic delayed shoplift calls like a murder investigation, no stupid touch DNA and 20 cameras at every house to deal with when an idiot leaves his car unlocked. NO EMAIL! I could go on and on. Now, we basically do all our own admin work and detective work without the time, resources, or credit. Plus we pick up the slack for animal services, FHP, EMS and so on. You left a few years after it all went To shiit! Back when dumb asses did not leave their key FOBs in their cars like they do now, but don't worry! Its all video taped! Back when a sleeping bumb was not a fuucking person down call. Im so tired of what a paranoid scared ***** this agency has become. What we enable is what is destroying this country. Back when street crime units “green team” were feared by the methheads and thugs.

Now we are just social workers for all of the insane drug addicted drunks that have taken over this county along with shop lift investigators. Way to put all those college degrees to good use. You want to be a professional? go feds. This agency needs to learn how to say NO to these people OR fuucking double our staff. One or the other. Otherwise you get this. Poor moral, burnout, and people quitting like they are left and right.

    Down from 200?

Someone posted the Reserves are down to 30-40 volunteers from around 200. If that is indeed the case, it sure looks like there are major problems within that unit.

You’d probably feel better about it if you STFU and did your job instead of whining like little bottom feeder loser b!tches. Hang yourselves
