Only 25 sheriffs voted for Bob out of a total of 3,000+ in the US. Let that sink in. According to TBT those 24 votes were past recipients of the said award. The 25th vote must have been Bob's, voting for himself. The NSA's sheriff of the year award is not worth the paper its printed on, same as the awards Bob hands out regularly to the useful fools, suck-ups, lap dogs and political leeches who follow him blindly and spew out his propaganda about what a great sheriff he is and how great his administration is.

Now, now control yourselves. Bob, has yet to make a worth while speech, that were all waiting to hear. You have your pleaser's and the Bobby, do boy's and yes men all, that now believe the boss "rocks" and as long as, they play the game of kiss the ring, they are safe for his temper and unfairness. Bob's a politician and will do as he see fit, to gain a vote. In law Enforcement, your only as good as your last shift that you put in. Having outsiders, cast this vote is a joke, as is the award. If the vote's were left to the employee's of the department, would he still be Sheriff of the year? As far as the comment, to as he can be Sheriff as long as he want's it. I will disagree with that. All it take's is one big Ah-sh!t, to bring down his house of cards and that could come from anywhere or anyone. As a employee of this department, I'm well a wear, that this shift could be my last shift, cause of Bob's moods or the little whispers, that some do. It's shameful, that almost any contact we make now we got to ask ourselves "what would Bob do" and second guessing yourself, could cause harm to one's self. So, please let's all stand and put our hands together, for the greatest Sheriff of this Nation.

And here are NSA's corporate sponsors. Any of the names seem familiar?!
https://www.sheriffs.org/winter-2019...ip-information
"INCREASE YOUR COMPANY’S EXPOSURE – BE A SPONSOR!
There are many unique and exclusive sponsorship opportunities available at the National Sheriffs’ Association’s Winter Legislative & Technology Conference, February 9-12, 2019, in Washington, D"
This is basically a way to advertise and sell your company's products by buying a NSA sponsorship. No conflict of interest here!

Yes, congratulations. Perhaps you should share your award with the Sheriff who gave his deputies permission not to enter the 1200 building at MSD in an attempt to engage an active shooter. The Sheriff that didn't do anything that rises to the level of suspension. The Sheriff who you have much in common with in the areas of character and integrity. Sheriff of the Year.
