    Neglect of duty

Rookie officer refuses to address a violent panhandler when asked by a Subways restaurant patron. His response was he was on lunch break and for them to call 911. Worst scenario his supervisor responded and defends the officer. No complaint recorded nor forwarded to asuntos internos. A true coward and heartless AH. Footage being reviewed and statements being gathered. Guys drop the f .... you are doing and act. If in uniform you are on duty!!!! It does not matter if you are hungry and waiting in line to get food or muscle supplements. You have a duty to act once summoned by a citizen. If you decide differently then your sorry azz dont deserve wearing a police uniform. We don’t need you here embarrassing our prestigious profession and badge. Supervisors act accordingly and your position is to conduct a thorough investigation of anything brought upon yourselfs. In this particular situation you don’t question the officer and violate his bill of rights or coach and alter his statements to contradict the citizens valid concern. You record all facts and then you allow asuntos internos to properly ascertain if a neglect of duty or improper procedure was committed. Do what is right for all or be dismissed of that golden badge.
