If you retired or left the military due to PTSD, no Law Enforcement agency Psych Doctor is going to sign off on you. I'm talking about if you were officially diagnosed by military doctors as having PTSD. A LEO career is probably not going to happen, unless you go work for an agency that does not require psych exam.

FHP, will not get those medical records, regardless if you were diagnosed by a military doctor or not. If you got out with an honorable discharge. The problem all starts with the recruiters that FHP has. They sell the whole look at how much money you can make off of 208, instead of being honest with these people. I personally would rather have a vet in law enforcement, then the ones with no life experience. If you aren't suicidal or wanting to just hurt others, then apply! I would suggest like others have and think about a different agency. On any Psych test just be consistent, wether it's question 8 or 1257. Good luck and thank you for your service.
