Not true, but the ass kisser wants you to think so. We all see the five day suspensions for some and education based discipline for others. Some get spanked because they caused the Sheriff stress in the past. Some get spanked because they are related to someone who stressed the Sheriff in the past. Some get a free pass for no apparent reason.

But hey, too lazy or too scared to get out of your cruiser on a shots fired call and you fail to find a murder victim? No problem, letter of counseling, don’t let it happen again. But if you mistakenly take police action and follow a car too long and it’s five days off for you!!! Lottery is an accurate description of discipline at PCSO.

They were lazy cowards who did not want to chance encountering an armed suspect or a homicide but it's just a letter of counseling. Good thing for them they did not get a DUI off duty, which means instant termination.

Another idiot Bob Troll. Bob has his minions on here to contradict anything on here that is the truth. Even these idiots learn over time that Bob has no loyalty. It’s fun watching these guys fall from grace.

Try FHP, you won't regret. Lots of freedom and plenty of Off Duty jobs that pay $60 plus an hour.

Low pay and you will end up with a FRS pension worse than at this agency because off duty jobs don't count towards it.

Go anywhere but FHP. Ticket writers and crash investigators, nothing more. It’s a screwed up agency with a lot of **** weeds to deal with. Troopers in Florida are the lowest form of law enforcement in the state.

FHP pay is a joke, you have to work off duty details at some 24 hour restaurant parking lot like Waffle House or Mc Donald's off the interstate to make ends meet. I feel sorry for those guys who work FHP.

Don't know about SPPD and TPD but our union is a joke. It's lawyer is in bed with the sheriff and the union has no bargaining power whatsoever. The union dues are a waste of money.

TPD is your best bet if you are looking to be a real cop and work for a real police agency, with a union.
