Off Duty Details - Rules Don’t Apply

So there are rules on different details like you have to have a marked cruiser, a radar or whatever. Why do detectives get to work these details and log on by voice and so t have a cruiser? Why does that HR guy always log on by voice and never does anything. You’re supposed to check out a cruiser and a laptop, but apparently people get to do whatever they want. I guess rules are just “guidelines” until someone who doesn’t matter breaks them. Great system!!

General Orders are "guidelines" and "suggestions" because they can't cover every specific situation, according to Bob's sworn statements in court. This is the sheriff saying this so who is going to argue with him, as the highest authority in this agency, right?!

Yeah, try telling that at an IAD invest or an ARB and see where that gets you. Lies and double standards, that's how this administration runs.

I hope you’re paid well for the ball washing you do. You never miss a chance that’s for sure. And if no one told you, that’s kinda what this web site is for. Because suck asses like you would try and fry anyone who said something was wrong at the mighty PCSO.

You never miss a chance to come on here and whine like a little ***** either. Why don’t you go work somewhere that’s great where you’ll be happy at?!?! We might actually gain a little respect for you. But wait a minute...if you leave you wont have anything to whine about anymore but then again, you’d probably fine something to ***** about at another agency too because you’re just a miserable ****.

Just because people criticize doesn’t mean they hate the agency. Pointing out inequities is healthy for a properly running agency. Real leaders would find value in uncovering problems. And real leaders would work to fix those problems. It’s only when you work for a megalomaniac that it’s unwelcome. Because they believe that their way is always the right way and any criticism is received as an attack on their authority and power. And only a great fool condemns all naysayers as an idiot or a female dog. Your responses constitute a logical fallacy. You attack the person and offer no position on the issues presented. I would suggest that you are the agency *****, not me. Good doggy.

The problem is with the administration not the agency. Big difference but useful idiots like you would not understand or you get paid to not understand. The useless leaders need to go not the worker bees who make the agency run. If the 3rd floor would be replaced tomorrow it would be in improvement. Bob's minions should be demoted or retired, replaced by qualified people, not political suck azzes. This agency is a disaster because Bob's administration ran it into the ground.

Do you have any specific instances of that occurring on jobs that are required? You don’t need CAD for every detail so that’s why they logon by voice or if they’re working a roving Detail, they don’t need a marked car. Obviously they aren’t doing traffic details without a computer with CAD and marked car.

    ER’s require a marked cruiser.
