All Officers of the N Bay Village PD!
The are two items on the table for the commission to consider for Noriega’s case. One of them is that they could vote to give him a payout of a little under 200k and he’s gone forever (best for PD and community). Second is voting to bring him back (worst for all). There is a third and that is go to court, however, there’s a summary judgement already in the system which the city says to the judge, “consider the facts”. And all involved know the Noriega case is weak at best. So, to show how much Noriega is wanted back by officers, a major union change is in process where close to 75 percent of the bargaining unit has signed and submitted cards of interest to have an election to bring in the Dade County PBA. The main reason is that Noriega used his connection with the current Union’s president to screw Officer Rey Marabotto out of his rightful and just access to a grievance process. Noriega’s vengeful and vindictive manner coupled with his ego driven behavior is and has been detrimental to the officers’ relationship with the community. He also recommended termination for officer Meadows causing Meadows to file an EEOC suit which is in process and very strong. More will be revealed to the public which can be verified. Perhaps our mayor should meet with officers other than those who supported him in the election. Bringing noriega back is a bad move. Brian is doing just fine and he’s not malicious.

Fake News
Why would the Mayor poll the cops who did not support him? They are the same ones that were on Kreps, Powell and Velken’s side. He knows those are the corrupt POS’s that are trying to destroy the PD

Shut up Vericker
Vericker spews lies! Twisting the facts to support anything but what is righteous. His blog and reputation are soiled like dirt diapers and he’s still being sued. Noriega and crack band of Army rangers have gotten this city sued on civil rights violations again. That Manny guy pointed an assault rifle at a little kid under an illegal yet approved raid on an apartment at MODA. Yes people that is Noriega in action. He’s the worst of the worst. And his side kick Behar was right there with him. The papers have been served.

Crooked cop on steroids
Our former chief came to NBV after being sidelined and pushed out at MB for scandal after scandal, including coverups.
The Commish should have checked him out then, but didn't do the due diligence. NBV inherited a crooked copy on steroids.
After spending 3/4 of budget NBV on swat equip, new vehicles, etc we are ready for war! he just had to go to war against a family in MODA.
He covered up the hurricane party b/c those were his guys, or he wanted those guys in his debt? Some of both.
He spent resources on a fabricated political witch hunt and lied to the people about extortion, FBI, blah blah blah. Its no crime to send a public official his own records. State attorney found nada. No crime. Did he ever investigate the former comm who took office under false pretenses and lied on voters registration? Nope, that's his ally. No professionalism, no objectivity, just political objective.
Former manager did not testify that he was let go by mayor's instruction, but for acts blatant insubordination. The blogger doesn't report that part of the testimony. Read it.
He does not have a whistleblower claim b/c he was not an employee. The evidence is in he was fired for cause. He is not getting a million dollars, and if he does come back its ONLY because his supporters packed the commission and their in each others pockets. Not b/c he has a case. Nothing to do with the law. Beware the blogger lies. The commission is controlled by a outside group with agenda
The mayor should talk to the cops and get the truth. But he won't.
