And we can't chase them without getting reprimanded. Instead of blaming the violator now we are going back to blaming the officer if something goes wrong. The ole public opinion pendulum

I agree with above.
Here’s an idea. The next time we get reports of atv/dirt bike on the highway causing issues. Send every unit in troop D.
Each unit turns on their emergency equipment.
Violator runs.
Deactivate equipment.
Pull case number and write a useless Ir for 2 hours while every call in the troop holds.
Solves nothing

It’s called policy. Every agency has got one. I don’t see Orange County or OPD chasing them.
