Did you ever notice thee is never a "revolt" against the lazy managers who allow their personnel to be lazy?
That "revolt" may have been a result of someone trying to poke the good ole boy system, did you ever think of that or are you one of those underachieving slugs?

I don’t think a whole intel program is the “ the good ole boy system”, I think it was someone who was given a task, and failed to complete such task. How many times did we have to hear it’s a “ship without a rudder”, but that’s the agencies fault for hiring guy who should of been in charge of an airport screening process, not a state agencies intel division. But, again we select these external hires, like the last counter terrorism director (ex Fbi) who didn’t even last a month before he jumped ship...but at least he got to take three weeks vacation on us, since he got his leave upfront.

If you think this Orlando hire isn't a "good ol' boy" hire you're delusional.
Are SAC positions even advertised outside FDLE?

This appointment was, in my opinion, more about who they DIDN'T WANT TO PROMOTE more than wanting to bring an outside person in. Look at the pool of ASAC's.

The list of ASACs are a joke! Only one that is worth anything is in JROC. He won’t go far, because he tells the truth too much. Heard a recent DD/ASAC at HQ got spanked bad for talking crap about the commish....

So out of all of our people in the state no one was qualified so we hired from the outside??? Morale killer!

Not sure the pay difference from ASAC to SAC would entice many to pack up a family and move.

One of the more interesting things to watch inside FDLE is the massive dysfunction within the entire chain of command.
But picking an outsider brings someone who is otherwise clueless into making into the decision process. Political animals all cling to one another. Have fun.

Ohhh no!
If he's a crony of Foy then nothing changes. Nothing of merit anyway
