Nope.... he is a solid hire. No real depth in the current ASACs so finally someone breaks the mold and goes outside to get leadership. LM already has the local contacts down and we all know this is what a SAC really does. Great job and decision.

We need to do this more often .... especially with mid-management!!!!!

And you're right, the current pool of ASAC's is absolute garbage. Change is good and this is a fresh perspective.

Hopefully he is better than the last Director/SAC brought in from the outside by this administration....that guy took the fast train to Capitol Police after a basic revolt in intel against him

The decision to hire from the outside after evaluating the possible internal choices was a solid move. It shows there were no good candidates on deck. OROC morale would have been destroyed as Miami has been if the would have promoted the ASAC from there. Members that came back to OROC and Agents and Supervisors there told us horror stories of working under the "Third Reich" regime of Walker and Woehr. Let there be no doubt that the Commissioner and Governor were made aware of the hell Miami folks are being put through and that crap was not welcome here.
