Once again this year things are out of control despite assurances last year by the brass and elected officials that things would be different; how untrue! It is obvious that the Miami Beach P.D. does not have the resources to cope with the torrents of thugs who have caused so much chaos and carnage again. This is not a criticism of the men and women who have tried their best to control these thugs, the majority of who reside just across the causeway. This chaos is due to the continued political pandering and correctness exhibited by spineless politicians and an ultra liberal media who refuse to acknowledge of what this hands off posturing does to social order i.e. it destroys it. Are there any plans to assign personnel from the City of Miami, Miami-Dade Police, or FHP to assist the beach this weekend? Without them chaos will prevail.

Its very sad that this once great city has become such a toilet. All the decent people in Miami stay clear all year. The city has ruined their image by allowing thug life to take over. What were all the politicians thinking when they thought it was a good idea to allow marijuana to be decriminalized? Did they not think that was going to bring all the overtown drug dealers over to sell weed. Did they not think it was going to bring pimps, hookers, drive bys, and all the nasty urban crime to this beautiful place. No they didn't they just wanted to put a liberal notch on the political belt and move on up the progressive money and power train at the residents expense. The residents are in fear all year, the poor cops don't have a chance as the minute they are on video doing something that the media deems bad they will be suspended fired arrested incarcerated in prison, lose their job, pension, home, wife, kids,. The city has created a very toxic situation and now it might be too late. A few years ago it seemed like they had been making progress but now its be allowed to fester to a point where its going to cost a fortune. The city needs to look hard at their image and hire a marketing firm or something to create a new image for themselves. They spent 100's of millions on the convention center and now what? Who wants to come? That place is scary. Years ago the advertised themselves as Party 25/7 because you need the extra hour. What has their new motto been? Come visit downtown L.A. Chicago, Detroit or other progressive liberal experiments gone bad. The cops have discouraged this crowd before they can do it again. How much money has been spent? Millions every year for all the O.T. Airshows, Concerts etc. Change the image of Miami Beach. It used to be a unbelievable place in the 50s-60s, fell into disrepair in the 70s-80s and needed massive police intervention to control the Mariel refugees and crack cocaine But it came back and was booming in the 90s-2000s with the Europeans, film and movies. Its now turning bad again, Get a plan, stick with it and clean it up. Look at how other cities have gotten ride of the negative crowds. They have done it, its our turn. Get the LPRs, Blackhawks, Prison busses, Motors, DUI checkpoints, road closures. Have the Fire Department shut the causeways down because they cant provide service. Police work has gotten so bad, its the commissioners job now to turn it around fix the laws. We don't need a country of drug users. We are a country of laws. Show the world that we know how to behave in a civilized fashion, stop the nonsense. Bring back zero tolerance, you can justify it now with all the craziness that has occurred, and you may look good if you seize the moment and act correctly. Look out! the Super Bowl is coming. You already lost the boat show.
