We should be wearing external vests that have pouch options now. With all the items we must carry there isn’t room for everything on our belts. Let’s count items:

    Gun
    Two magazines
    Handcuffs
    Radio
    Taser
    ASP
    Flashlight
    Tourniquet
    Narcan
    Nitrile or Latex Gloves
    CPR mask
    Cell phone

These are all the items we are supposed to have on us. I guarantee few carry the narcan, CPR mask and gloves on them all the time. If we had external vests with pouch options, like on a molle system, we would have everything all the time.

But the people who make the rules don’t wear all this shit everyday on the road. They sit in air conditioned offices and make rules from in high with no regard for what the end users want or need. They want parade ready tin soldiers.

Yuuup the people that say they don’t want people wearing those vest never do anything on the road.
Sitting in nice office chair in a dress uniform is no big deal. Try it in a car for 12 hours

Both Task forces wear them now

If the administration adds more s**t to carry we will need backpacks. Let those who ride decide. The REMFs who decide all this are a bunch of worthless beta boy office slugs who know nothing and do not care about anybody but themselves.

Shit, that’s giving them credit for even being in the echelon. The closest the decision makers get to harms way is an air conditioned command bus in the cold zone.
