    There are 42 trooper positions in Troop L-Davie. There are typically 5-10 troopers on duty during the AM and PM shift and 3-6 troopers on duty during the midnight shift.

    I barely see one. I'm sure they working and staying safe though. The parking lot at the station full of nice Chargers though.

    The keys only has one trooper and no sgt. The sgt. Would have to respond from miami. The same goes for miami/broward pike.

    Miami-Dade would love to take those 42 troopers away from FHP. If those troopers want a pay raise, all they have to do is switch over.

    Miami Dade will be the sheriff department soon. That will help with their staffing too. But I feel anyone who leaves FHP to join any other agency would make great traffic division Sgt's and THI specialists.

    Of course Miami would want the extra Troopers you need somebody to staff your off-duty jobs.
