Trooper Involved Shooting - Line of Duty

Does anyone have any information on last nights trooper involved shooting which left one person dead? This incident occurred in the Golden Glades Interchange area in northern Miami-Dade County. Right now media reports are sketchy; maybe that's a good thing!

Yeah, because you certainly want to discuss it on a public forum!

    Cool

From what I heard it was an international diamond thief. There was like 20 guys and the trooper fought them all off in unarmed combat. 😂🤣😂🤣😂

    Unhappy Chris

and of course, Chris just had to say a "few" words to the media ... key words: altercation, shooting at the car etc... way to go! One thing you never EVER- EVER do is make a comment without consulting with FDLE, but you did because you are the STATE POLICE COMMANDER? ~~~joke~~~ and you don't need permission from FDLE for anything in your backyard .... right? he's never going to change but Tallahassee likes it that way

    Intelligent Responses!

Once again an intelligent response is out of the question. This was a simple inquiry; if you don't know the answer why respond. No wonder morale with the FHP, and turnover, is so low. As they say "just the facts please". I hope the colonel doesn't drive on our unpatrolled roadways; he might find it too dangerous and if he came across an incident or Signal 4 he couldn't count on a timely backup. That's if he really leave the confines of Tallahassee. Don't worry, FDLE is doing the investigation and that's scary in itself.
