Trouble at the Jail and elsewhere

Find the cause then the cure

This current incident has to have some cause that people at the higher pay grades should identify and fix. Until these issues are addressed be prepared to see more very unprofessional, punishable behavior by line staff. An ever growing group of members are at the tipping point after years of being frustrated by the lack of structured discipline at the jail. There has been a gradual slide of the pendulum where the inmates are right and staff is somehow always wrong. This is the mentality of inexperienced, indifferent, lazy, and non-supportive supervisors. The current incident is of course inexcusable but no one will dare try to seek out what caused these deputies to engage in such an unprofessional manner. I can only imagine how many times they have been frustrated in the past by inept supervisors. There is nothing worse than an unruly inmate who wins out in the end because a supervisor undercuts the deputy. The inmate population have learned that supervisors are their friend and the deputy is a glorified babysitter with little to no power. After a few inmate victories due to inept supervisors people who were once reasonable and exercised their authority with professionalism will go rogue. to correct this problem will take great effort and the supervisors will actually have to engage inmates, tell them NO and do their job. Since it's much easier to just wait to see which deputies lose it nothing will change. Just once a supervisor of deputies who do this should be at the very least analyzed to see if their actions somehow led the deputies to matters into their own hands. Again, not excusing the deputies and they should be punished but let's try to prevent this by addressing the root cause.

Was there a press event for the Jordan and Rowe clown act? That would be a a big NO!!! Everyone should shut up before the man changes his mind cause Jordan and Rowe skated by not getting fired. Hey at least they weren’t letting inmates have sex with tween girls like clown jailers at PBSO. All is good here.

No press conference needed, they made the national news and were embarrassed along with the agency all over the country.

What Bob does not realize is every time he publicizes these incidents they also reflect badly on him because he runs this agency.
