Bob would sell out and backstab anyone in the agency if he thought he would gain some political advantage from it. Even his most fanatical butt kissers are expendable in the right situation. It's great to see one of them get "the speech" and suddenly retire or get fired outright. It's good for the morale of the troops. The best morale builder would be to see Bob leave the agency.

Bob needs to go along with the three stooges, Sean, George and Old man Dan. This is the biggest reason why this place fell in the past decade. You can say Bob got us raises, pay scale, new cars and equipment but he has too in order to keep people here. New guys are still leaving in mass droves even with pay raises. I heard there is another possible pay raise in October for five percent. These pay raises just keep us in par with the other local agencies. If Bob is going to continue his B.S. then he is going to have to pay a lot more for people to stick around. For every dictator, it eventually doesn’t end well for them. Wait and see.

Bob's gold star has lost its shine. First it was the loss of Latvala's coat tails. Little Latvala has no pull to spread to Bob. The old Dunedin Guard has lost a lot of its pull. His main butt buddy Rick Scott can't help him from DC. He shot himself in the foot over SYG, 2nd Amendment and Scott Israel. There have been enough scandals within PCSO that also reflect poorly on him. But I think his harsh and very public stance on busting his ass to make sure medical pot was not legalized will be the nail in the coffin that finishes him off. There are too many videos of him telling the World how bad pot is that I assure you will be aired over and over again by McLynas whose stance is ending all pot enforcement. 71% of Pinellas voters voted FOR medical pot. There are too many negatives for Bob and his "management skills" were never enough for him to float on his own.
If it is another race like last year against only McLynas, if Bob spends a lot he may win. But McLynas is coming back this time with the support of his last election and a lot of people that like his pot stance, including some major pot support websites. If someone else decides to run as a democrat from this agency, it might just split the "pro police" vote in half and allow McLynas to win. Either way, Bob does not have it as easy as he pretends he does.
