Do you know the story behind the placement of Jan Jordan? What were her credentials. Where are her credentials? Israel sold Parkland a real-bad bill of goods. He lied to the residents of Parkland by padding her resume. What are/were her qualifications when the people of Parkland asked SI? What did he tell them exactly? Hmmmmm? Where are those stellar documents of fluff he provided the media?

He did lie about Jordan. A lot. He sold the city a woman who not long before was a ticket agent for an airline and had a long history of employment issues. Parkland did not ask for "diversity". We know this because Israel won't name EXACTLY who made this request, and the Parkland politicians emphatically DENY this. This was clearly "stick a female in there because it fills a slot" appointment. Now, he has the audacity to attack an urban African American as beneath him. Israel was the Chief of a minuscule department in North Bay Village. You can't find anyone of any rank in CS with a bad word to say about Tony. Besides, Tony has identified BSO as a law enforcement agency, again.
Tony has character, he's humble and does not compare himself to world leaders. Those are traits that a narcissist cannot comprehend or value. That's why the public considers Scott's adolescent temper tantrums "inconsequential" and blatantly RACIST.

A black young man, raised by a single mother in Philly, stays on the right path, goes to college, walks on to college football, serves the public, pursues an independent business, treats those around him with dignity and respect. Summing this up as " a guy from the gym" is discrediting an individual's accomplishments WHEN it comes from a person who has claimed that he is all about black youth getting ahead and overcoming obstacles. So yeah, the dismissal of accomplishments in this case is a big slap to the black community.

The "whites" that he fired were the white admin staff (old friends from FtL)that were hired for a second pension after promises to have diversity. The blacks in admin, with the exception of FA, promoted by Tony were NOT part of the old boys club or included in their shenanigans.

Go out into the community and ask about the new Sheriff. That's who votes; and they're satisfied with his commitment to the community.
