When employees make mistakes Bob understands that they are all human and nobody is perfect so he is very lenient and applies the minimum disciplinary action in order to not cause the employees in question unnecessary stress and financial harm. Also he refrains from publicizing completed investigations and disciplinary actions in order to not embarrass the agency and the disciplined employees. Political promotions not based on marit, coverups, nepotism, sexual favors for promotions, and inconsistent application of the General Orders are not tolerated. This is why Bob is the greatest sheriff of all time in Pinellas County and quite possibly the State of Florida. He stands a good chance of advancing his flawless political career as Attorney General or even Governor after if he seeks higher office.
Ok, you can pull your lips, off his azz now. He's trying to take a seat. You wouldn't be trying for a appointment to a higher rank or transfer to a new unit??

Once Bob is mad at you all reasonableness leaves the building. There is no progressive discipline, it’s all or none. When is the last time you saw someone get a one day suspension

I threw together a quick sarcastic summary for Bob's suck azz lapdogs to use on his birthday and holiday cards.

So when someone points out issues with the agency, they are automatically not hard workers? Typical manipulative spin. If you speak up, you are lazy? How manipulative. Everyone is working hard out here. EVERYONE. That whole macho competition over who works harder than the other is exactly how our brass squeezes every drop of work out of us, while they kick back. Everyone I work with is a hard worker. We are too busy and too shorthanded to have a choice. Clever huh? Most of the ones that complain work even harder, so that is why they complain. Just because someone speak up or mention problems, unfairness, the good ol boy system, favoritism, does not mean anyone is not working hard. Typical typical typical shiit agency move. Instead of listening, you turn things around. Im sure that sounds very familiar in the private lives of all our robot followers. Speaking up does not mean lazy. Quite the contrary. I see exactly how and why u were promoted. Deputies and detectives shut their mouths and work hard. They jump through all the hoops in hopes of getting promoted or moved to a better area only to be told to jump through more hoops. All while others with less experience but more connections get the transfers and promotions. You know this is true. After a while that deputy or detective will become pissed off and will start speaking up. Not because he or she is lazy, but because they are HUMAN. Anyone with any self worth will stand up for themselves. It has nothing to do with being lazy. If you were a leader, you would understand. Being promoted is completely different than being a leader. A leader listens to his subordinates and relays those concerns up the chain without worrying about making the brass sad and blow your chances at more promotions at the cost of your troops moral. If you are not connected, then you are a butt kisser. But kissers are yes men. Yes men follow and do not lead. Thats why nothing changes here. We need leaders. Leaders who have balls to talk. You should try it.

Bull crap. Everyone is not hard working. There are hard workers, but not as many as you believe. And no one is short handed. This place is rarely call to call to call. And many deputies do the bare minimum. If you don’t see that you are blind. No one goes without backup or 58. If you are working hard you are taking people to jail every day. Very few deputies stay that busy. And if the only people you arrest are from dispatched calls, you are lazy.

There is an exception to this. Your third floor slugs never worked a day in their life which I find amusing when they call out a deputy by calling him subpar. Most of these people are sons and daughters, ass kisses, or good looking females that have hiding since working here. They didn’t do much time on the road to be considered hard working. They went straight to specialized units and continued their career hiding there. Most of the third floor clowns still believe patrol is worse place to work and can’t understand why people don’t want be transferred anymore. When you hear the idiot on here calling deputies slugs, more than likely he is a Bob minion, and he more of a slug than the normal slug that is out here. One day that slug will be done in by Bob.
