    Perhaps FHP should also not be dropping troopers their last week of probation due to minor difficulties that could have been remedied easily with proper leadership and guidance during the prior year or due to personal dislikes of management.

    There are a lot of troopers who should have been cut during probation but were not. Only the biggest POS’s among those that should be cut actually get cut. In over 15 years, I have never seen someone fired during their probation that didn’t completely deserve it and wasn’t given chance after chance after chance to redeem themselves.
