Judging by his statement in the story, he seemed lost.

Not everyone can be as Shakespearean in front of the cameras as to quote "ifs and buts... candies and nuts" but he can formulate complete and coherent sentences so we're already ahead of the game.

So it's been 6 weeks let's see what great accomplishments Sgt Temporary Tony has done so far:

First and only big decision is allowing porn star Goatees and beards. Very important policy change.

Stood up and front of command staff and said no-one is getting fired then fired over 20 people. Liar.
Stood up in front of command staff and said he didn't like people jumping ranks then promoted a Sergeant to Major. Liar.

False education claims and false claims of military service and expertise.
Refuses to discuss complete lack of experience to be a sheriff except for being a rookie Sgt at a small department.
Refuses to discuss arrests and legal troubles while in college.

Claims to be an "expert" in active Shooter training yet has not trained ONE Officer or Deputy, only civilians. Look it up. Liar.

Makes ordering furniture, taking down pictures, and painting walls his main priority.

States that he is a LEO, not a politician, then announces he is running in 2020 3 weeks into his brief tenure. Liar.
