Maybe it’s time for the Florida Attorney General’s Office to start conducting the IA’s

I am sure that Kurt did not forge his wife's name!! Get back on track here. This thing is waaay off course. Was she actually there that day in front of Ingrid. I do not know that. She could have signed it at home. Was anyone at the gift of giving ceremony? If so did anyone see her there? She probably was. This is not the point.

BACK ON TRACK-The point is how can a Sheriff and staff seek more money from the citizens when they mismanage the Sheriff's office using workers to do their personal business? If you have your employees conducting your personal business matters, then maybe they have too much time? If they have too much time certainly you have more people then you need to serve the public and plenty of money to go around. It appears as if the watch dogs are looking at you and your behaviors. At least there are a few men who are not scared of your bully tactics. Times are changing gentlemen. You are only seeing the tip of the iceberg here. I bet this is just the appetizer. Alos I would love to see Kost and Knight in a debate. Best thing ever.

    Kost for Sheriff 2020!!!

To compare the legal signatures of Kurt & Teresa Hoffman, all you have to do is run her driver's license to see her legal signature. However, just remember that if you run her DL, then Knight will know about it -- and you'll be screwed. Subsequently, it's best to let outsiders do all civil, misdemeanor and felony investigations (if you value your job).

It's politically safer for all SSO deputies and civilians not to attach personal names to complains -- unless you're already retired. This is a word to the wise, which you are.

Maybe a member of the media will ask for a public record request for all camera angles on entrance/exit doors for the 24 hours on the date they signed the paperwork. Then we can see if she entered the building or not. If not, a complaint can be made with FDLE and the governors office and Ingrid and the witness can be called in and polygraphed as to whether or not this was done during business hours, and if the wife signed her own name. I'm sure the governors office can pull her license and verify the signature.
On a side note, didn't the sheriff just admit to running the Venice YMCA during business hours??

It's too complicated for the media to initiate. Reporters want the work to be already done.

That gets politically and legally complicated and it takes a bona fide complainant with political connections to initiate that kind of deep dive. Who will enter those politically territorial waters? And you're going to do all that for what legal or political gain? Kurt Hoffman forged his wife's name for a bank loan while he was working as a sheriff's deputy. Knight is in bed with the local GOP and Joe Gruters can put the kabosh on any investigation. That's how things work.

The H-T just did a story on Knight and the SKY Family YMCA that makes him look like a hero:
    https://www.heraldtribune.com/news/2...ky-family-ymca

The SKY Family YMCA does not pass the financial smell test. The YMCA has been and is in financial turmoil, as any member sees e.g. dropping services that have been in existence for decades, dropping insurance-discounted memberships (because the Y can't get full retail price for those memberships), cash flow issues, property management/financial issues, etc. We haven't even mention who is making money from what in the SKY Family YMCA charter school scheme. That could lead to resignations... but oh, didn't Pat Ryan just resign without explanation? That's why Knight was pushed to step-in, which was quickly followed by the puff H-T story. Knight is a public-figure puppet-head who is bought and paid for to make everything look kosher. The office of sheriff is being used for legitimacy to favorably influence public perception. In fact, the H-T puff article presents Knight as a hero lol.

    Fools

You idiots keep exposing the sheriff and his cronies and nothing ever comes of it. When will you learn that the rules don’t apply to him? In the last ten years he has violated policy and the law again and again. Nothin will come of this and you are all powerless to stop him. If you doubt that just ask him.

Welcome to Florida where the office of sheriff is the most powerful position in the county.

The sad part about this whole thing is no one cares and he will be in the position he’s in until someone above him with enough political clout tells him to leave.

People do care and Father Time always works things out fairly in the long run. For example, who would have ever imagined that a forged signature would be clearly visible for “all to see and compare” here at leoaffairs?

Conversely, none of this was supposed to be public knowledge --- and yet we see Hoffman's loan information plastered at leoaffairs LOL.
Well I suppose you should have a talk with whomever is in charge of your public records requests. If something was to be redacted then they should be made aware of it.
