I just can't express this safety hazard enough... Get rid of Motorola.
Their deficiencies are always blamed on the Officer or our "Lack of training on how to use the radios".
Someone has to be getting a kickback to this shoddy system.

Not sure what happened on Tuesday. But the radio was 10-7 hear traffic from other areas.

Funny how every deputy can figure out how to work a smartphone, with all of its numerous capabilities, but the county thinks we can't figure out how to work a 5 button radio. Plus the cellphone gets great reception without a 2 foot antenna.
I'm guessing the county's idea of upgrading is gonna be from 1972 technology to 1975 technology. We havent had an upgrade this comprehensive since dispatch went from flashcards to DOS computers.
