Volvo tried that years ago .......
Quite a few years ago, Volvo thought they would bring their reputation for safety to LE vehicles. They produced a prototype and brought it to Ft. Myers for testing. Maj Joe Saucedo, then a Trooper, was first to test the car. He was gone less than one hour when he chose to cross the median on SR93 and unexpectedly hit a raised catch basin cover. After the tow, the cost to Volvo exceeded $8,000 for repairs. Volvo ceased any testing and decided not to enter the LE market.

You must love having a simple mind.
The truth is Ford bought Volvo and Jaquar, and decided they did not want competition for the Crown Victoria, the number 1 LEO vehicle at the time, so Ford killed the Volvo LEO vehicle concept. But your fake news story sounded good. Go crawl back under your rock.

Much as you might wish, the facts cannot be changed. Unless you want to equivocate and say it was 75 minutes rather than an hour ...... If they were not planning to enter the market, they would not have presented the vehicle for evaluation. Perhaps they had a few factory man-hours to spare so they thought they would build a car with no future. You just sound silly when you try to "spin" the story.

Volvo is now owned by a Chinese company but were under the Ford conglomerate for about 8 years
For the past 30 or so years Volvo is very successful in the police car market in most of Europe, Africa and some of Asia.
Just not here. In europe turbo volvo wagons are very widely used for LE, as well as Egypt, Laos, much of Africa, Pakistan. Their plastic and rubber components crumble after a few years of UV exposure though due to recycled materials. Look at any older Volvo, you can literally watch the interior or hoses crumble.
