problem is too many passengers instead of workers. half the dod is busy selling dinners, cakes, real estate, etc. favoritism. has/is/ and will continue to run rampant whether the sheriff is black, white, green or purple. if you turn the jail over to the county commissioners......well you know they cant walk and chew gum at the same time. give the new sheriff a chance. anyone remember Cochran and templeton????

On my last year and been around for many administrations. Never has the jail been this useless, lazy, self serving and dysfunctional. IPU unit?? Really? If you have that many investigations and ancillary stuff going on with one jail closed, you need a leader not another special unit or dope dog. How many deputies are we down now? Good time to initiate a jail marine and helicopter unit. Clearly temporary has a man crush on Palmer and (former) Reyes but hes being fooled... big time. And no, the toilet jail has nothing to do with the sheriffs color. Its the leadership.

Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease....there is a reason why companies don't take stock boys and make them the CEO. Sgt Tony hasn't a clue and he has done a poor job of surrounding himself with anyone with a shred of experience. BSO is now far beyond repair.
