That was one of the worse catch phrases ever. It only applies in socialism, where they force all men to be equal. In the real world there are lazy men, ambitious men, cowardly men, dishonest men, brilliant men, visionaries, brave men, sneaky men and a million other types. To say that I am equal to the man who has 45 felony convictions is only feasible to those who want to take what I have worked for and give it to him, and that is called socialism.

SAD, but true. It seems the problem is really genetic.

Came here as a black woman to get some insight on St. Pete because I was hoping to apply as a police officer and I'm appalled by the people on here. What I see is nothing but blatant racism. Is this how you guys are here? Really sad. When an entire race has seen centuries of abuse against it they won't be perfect. People like to pretend that racism, lynching, slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, etc happened long ago. That it still isn't happening. It's proven today that schools with more minorities get less funding even when the neighborhoods have similar incomes. That black people are targeted in their daily life. And an entire continent like Africa which has been robbed and raped in every sense of the word still is building and thriving despite that. There's a cause and effect for everything. Surprise. Years of abusing, killing and targeting an entire race effects them negatively. Anyway I'm going to see myself out of this forum. What a disappointment.

So let me get this straight. You came in a publicly accessible blog about cops and you have now formed an opinion of police in St Pete? This blog has no integrity check to determine if any poster is an officer, citizen or convict in prison. You said, “I see nothing but blatant racism” but that is prejudice by you. You made a unilateral statement and that is all you see. And “an entire race” hasn’t seen all the abuse you claim it has. Africans captured Africans for slave traders. Not all blacks in the USA are descended from slaves. Blacks are not the only ones enslaved. Throughout history everyone has been enslaved at some point. Pick up a book and learn something. And Africa hasn't been “robbed and raped” in every sense, if so how are there still black people there? Every country in the world has changed hands through war, theft, murder and even through purchase. Racism happens among all humans, blacks too. Lynching, aka murder. happened before most of us were born. Jim Crow surely exists. Look at Wengay Newton’s district. If that misshaped illegally aligned district was gone there would be a different vote. He ran there to get the poor black vote, so who is the racist again? We don’t need spineless cause seeking fake activists like you in law enforcement anyway. Glad this board changed your mind.
