As far as I know noone here is bashing the young officers. We are bashing the old corrupt wh$res such as you that benefit from these events and are responsible for coming up with these hare brained ideas. Grow a pair and go fight crime troll that is what the tax payers of this county hired you for.

You might have a point about "new police work", but I witnessed a rookie officer refuse to jump a fence and help another officer take a homicide subject into custody (actively fighting) because there were "small spikes" on top of the fence. That officer was also the first to arrive to have coffee with the community. This is because its embedded in new officers that's community relations trumps actual police work. There should be a balance, but apparently police work is dead.

Not to mention I also saw a picture on MDPDs Instagram of recruits who havn't even graduated painting walls and cleaning leaves up out of peoples yards. I guess you're right, learning how to clean up s*** is more important than keeping our brothers, sisters, community and streets safe. Sike. Eating a cookie and drinking coffee with the same people who scream f*** the cops takes precedence over taking criminals and illegal guns off the street.

When you have a director promoted by a coorupt mayor who uses PCB and Media as his tools to cover up investigations and keep politicians happy what can you expect? This new police phylosphy of letting criminals run loose while cookies are being had is all part of the “do not make waves generation”. Somewhere in Juan Perez’s reptilian brain he is eyeing a future in politics so cookies, hip hop dancing and public statements riddled with prepositional phrases are the norm.

You have not written your first traffic citation nor collared your first arrest but here you are mixing it up with local politicians looking for a campaign picture or “community” bigwigs looking for influence!
You are teaching them well Juan Perez! You are raising them in your own image! What a warped sense of understanding for our profession! Enjoy those cookies boys and girls, they come laced with political commitment and corruption. See you in the cheering section at the next hip-hop dance off contest.
