Lewis Velken
He’s our acting manager and was originally hired as the chief. Can’t say he’s stepped up for the cops, but no body knows much about him. Very cheap given he made huge money at the county. Any insight would be welcome.

In the letter, FOP General Council Paul Daragjati called the situation surrounding Velken’s employment a “complete ethical failure by Mr. Velken and his cronies.” He continued, “A very valid argument can be made that many of the personnel decisions Mr. Velken made as police chief were void as he was not employed by a criminal justice agency.”

FOP called it out for what it is. PBA supported Velkins actions. Shows the big difference between the two organizations. One calls out abuse the other embraces it.
